Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is an indispensable analytical technique in biology and medicine. Based on the quantum mechanical properties of spin, it is very sensitive to the local magnetic/chemical environment with atomic resolution. The NMR interaction energy is very small, they rely on radio frequency (RF) as probe radiation. Because of its non-destructive and non-invasive, NMR becomes an ideal tool for studying the composition of substances and the interaction of biomolecules.
